We are in need of MS SQL Database Administrator

Areas of Responsibility/Job Description
- Database design and Development
- Management of Replication
- Manage database integrity, backup, recovery, access and changes
- Optimization and performance monitoring and tuning
- Initiate and manage user access and security
- Backup and restore
- Index management
- Data warehousing and OLAP development
- Development of stored procedures, functions, triggers and views

Skills and Knowledge areas:
- Candidate must be a Microsoft Certified DBA
- 5+ years of professional experience in MS SQL Server database administration
- Strong programming experience in Transact SQL
- Solid background in DTS, Alerts, and Jobs is a must
- Experience in normalization, denormalization and performance tuning
- Experience in Windows NT/2000/2003 administration
- Experience in deploying full life-cycle enterprise-wide solutions
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Must be able to work both independently, and in a team environment
- Application skills include MSSQL Server Clustering, MSSQL Replication, MSSQL Transact-SQL, OLAP, Data Warehousing and VB Script
- Excellent communications (verbal and written) and analytical skills
- Must be comfortable working with existing systems and implementations as well as installing, configuring, and tuning all versions of SQL Server
