oo nga eh, ngayon lang ulit nakapag-setup ng Assembly sa machine ko. Anyway, naging "hello" post na lang ang assembly forum, haha.
About the assembly and database programming, it's quite difficult to do that since you'll have to understand a lot of things. Like for example, SQL Server uses COM, meaning getting used to COM+Assembly is a must. While there are other databases that exposes flat API (SqLite for example), learning how to handle large data-types is also a must (learning SSE for floating-point, dates, etc).
I'm not back yet, sobrang demanding work ko ngayon, pero silip silip lagi ako, especially the development here on my all time favorite programming language, Assembly Language!
(I'm currently enjoying Intermediate Language (MSIL) and Managed Package Lexer and Parser Generators (MPLEX & MPPG) in VS2005.February.SDK.
Keep up guys,
-chris
