 HI guys! :)

Another newbie here! I found this site very useful, I'm also a Pilipino!

Can any one give me a suggestion how to restore my programming skills, what programming language suit to me? and where do I start?

Here is my little knowledge about programming.

Programming - VB6, VB.net(just a basic)

Web - Html, ASP, PHP (a little bit)

Database  - SQL, MS ACCESS - just basic

Design -  Adobe 7 - CS3, Macromedia Fireworks MX

Thanks in advance!

Suggestion from a newbie too -- Seeing what you posted, I guess you could stick to those MS products/languages. Not that I mean be loyal to them, but use that as a starting point to restore your basic programming skill then be adventurous and try other ones until you find which one is comfortable (or needed) for you. There's so much to learn these days.

Yep! PHP is not that hard if you have background on JavaScript, C++, etc because the syntax is almost the same. But learning from scratch IMHO will not be a problem since it seems that you've got it down with programming basics already. But I should say that any language that you choose involves a lot of time and perseverance to learn. It's like learning another foreign language. LOL. Just try to read, practice, read, practice, ask, read... you know the drill.
