hey guys, you know any "FREE" jsp hosting sites?, this are the only hosters i've seen so far,
-eatj
-gratisjsp
-myjavaserver
so far none of them will make you happy enough to enjoy practicing web development in java.
please if you know any other free hosters..kindly post in this thread thanks
Don't know one myself. What's wrong with eatj? I registered and although it seems nice, I haven't tested it yet. I think my company has an opening for Entry level programmers but I think they'll bond you for... Uhhh... 3 years?
Convert limitations to great expectations... You are the creative force of your life...

eatj doesn't have ftp access so as with others. most of paid hosting providers has monthly fee for hosting java stuffs, i dont know why all of them do that, when php is also opensource like java/tomcat/connector..java should be hosted for free also right?.. sir may i know what company is that?, is there an exam again or just interview?, if hired, is their a training first before handling a real project?, .. 3 years is cool specialy if its worth the environment, i mean is your company specializes in full java softwares? desktop & j2ee? or j2ee only?.,im realy after for the learning thing.
Check our website,. I don't think they will provide you with a classroom type training. Personally, when I was a trainee, I prefer working on a real client project(ironically, I never got a real training nor work on a client project). You'll have to go through an exam and interview like everybody else. SOP na yan.
We specialize in J2EE and most of the apps we're working on are webapps. Depending on the project that you get assigned to, you'll get the chance to work with standard development tools. In my current project, we use standard tools like RAD7, Oracle 10g, EJB, Struts, JSP.
Why would you need FTP Access? Are you planning on putting some upload features? It seems like you could upload a war file. Yes, Java is opensource just like PHP, but Java, in reality, needs more system resources than PHP and not a lot of people have the money to put up a free hosting site.
PS.
I just asked our recruitment team and it seems like you'll have to undergo a general training session in variety of technologies like java, cobol and vb, etc.

no i wont put up any upload features, im still a beginner yet i want a full featured hosting just like that one of my php host provider that has everything in the cpanel.on the other hand, was also planning to use my pc in office and point my ip using the dyndns, unfortunately we have 3 routers in office and port 80 is blocked. our system admin told me that i might be accused of sucking the company bandwidth for personal gain... so ill just leave it like that on my localhost.
by the way thanks for the info about yer company. its cool that your company didn't post in any job search engine site about the hiring thing. well, Im still waiting for the exam sched from a company which I currently applied to. I dont know if you know this soluziona in quezon city?... well thats it. thanks again sir.
No problem dude, God Bless with your search and I wish you all the success in your Java job hunting!
