I've been using the MSN desktop search for sometime now and have been pleasantly surprised by the results. I've actually used GDS (or Google Desktop Search) before but had to remove it from my machine as it slowed it down to unbearable levels. MSN, otoh, has been very unobtrusive and I did not notice any kind of system performance degradation.
Yesterday, I decided to try out the live search toolbar. Poking around the options settings, I found out several add-ins I could install. Another surprise came my way. Microsoft now provides Onfolio, an RSS reader plus plus. The plus plus comes in the way of "Collections". If you're like me, I see a lot of things I want to keep or read about like blogs, articles, websites. So for links to articles or web sites, I used del.icio.us. For reading RSS feeds, I've used bloglines, Omea Reader, Sage (on firefox). Now I can do all these things within IE using Onfolio.
I'm not sure if this is enough to make me give up del.icio.us but I've already uninstalled Omea Reader. I'm now using Onfolio for my RSS feeds. Thank god for OPML, importing all my blog links into Onfolio was a breeze.
