When you are using SVN Show Log, you'll have a list of the top 100 (default setting) logs/revision logs from Subversion.  It may take some time to populate them if you already have a number of revisions in your current project but you have the option to limit the entries from TortoiseSVN Settings -> Look and Feel -> Dialogs 1 -> Default number of log messages.  I have currently set mine to 10.

You have the option to show the Next 100 or All the logs from the TortoiseSVN Log Messages window if you need a longer list.
