Error: Can't read file (subversion server path)file.tmp, End of file found
i was about to check in my changes last night but before that, i wanted to update my copy.  i was presented with a dialog with a message of

Error: Can't read file (subversion server path)file.tmp, End of file found

i tried to do a clean up and update a number of times to no avail.  i decided to go home since it is already late.  this morning when i told my teammate of the scenario, he had experienced it to.  his workaround is to backup changes and do a cleanslate checkout before overriding the files.  i tried to do an update before i do a workaround and it succeeds, perhaps all i needed last night is a machine restart.

[EDIT] We continuously encounter this error from tortoise and it turns out that the problem is just the limited disk space from our subversion server

I think I had a similar problem with CVS.

I just tried to open the Document Archive several times, and the files were accessible again. But then I had the same problem again. So I restarted my local CVS server and voila, it worked.
